Built to be used by everyone

We want everyone in Centre County to be able to use this site, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology.

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means semantic structure, keyboard operability with visible focus, labeled form fields, text alternatives for images, color contrast that meets the AA ratio, and respect for reduced-motion settings.

We do not use an accessibility overlay widget. Overlays often get in the way more than they help, so the accessibility is built into the pages themselves.
